    I got stuck on spring supply for ages before I decided to go transverse leaf instead.

    I ended up going to the local trailer parts store and got the smallest 4 leaf eye to eye spring they had - 640mm from memory - and removing the three helper...
    I got stuck on spring supply for ages before I decided to go transverse leaf instead.

    I ended up going to the local trailer parts store and got the smallest 4 leaf eye to eye spring they had - 640mm from memory - and removing the three helper leaves, just leaving the long spring with the eyes.

    One 45 x 6mm leaf has a pretty good spring rate for my fat butt (95kg+) and rides smoothly.
